D.E.S Float comes Runners-Up in the 2017 Cromer Carnival Parade

It has long since been established as the biggest day of the year in Cromer. But, according to the town’s Mayor John Frosdick, this summer’s Carnival Day was without doubt the best one yet.

To top it all off the Carnival Parade was treated to yet another incarnation from the Drurys Environmental team, with this years topic being based around a ‘War on Waste’ theme.

The team were rewarded with the Runners-Up place for the float that featured a Tank, Anti (air-craft) Waste gun and amphibious vehicle that had all been made from the bits and pieces people throw away. We even managed to capture a ‘Fly’ tipper dressed in a Fly Costume who was causing mischief whilst the float made its way around the packed, tight streets of Cromer.
